Here’s a common bathroom problem - mould on the ceiling and walls.
In an environment like a bathroom where there is lots of moisture and steam,
mould can sometimes be a result of poor ventilation.
The best way to remove the mould is to use Selleys’ Rapid Mould Killer
which is
great for keeping the mould at bay and Selleys’ Sugar Soap which will help clean
up the rest of the area. You will also need some safety equipment like rubber
gloves and eye protection.
Selleys’ Rapid Mould Killer is easy to use and comes in a convenient spray pack,
however, before you do anything you need to make sure the bathroom is well
ventilated by opening all the doors and windows.
Then just spray on Selleys’ Rapid Mould Killer and wipe it clean. To clean up
the walls make up a Selleys’ Sugar Soap solution and using a sponge wash down
the walls removing any stains and grime.
To repair fine cracks and scratches on the walls apply Selleys’ Poly Filler Skim
Coat. If you have larger holes to repair, use Selleys’ Spakfiller Rapid - it’s
easy to use and comes pre-mixed.
When applying Selleys’ Spakfiller Rapid the key
is to get it into the holes nice and firm creating a key-way effect so it
doesn’t slip out. The product will set in thirty minutes allowing you to sand
and paint.
