Faye uses coach bolts to repair a loose and squeaky balustrade.
Coach bolts are
much stronger than screws. Faye drills some holes using a spade bit.
Once the
coach bolts are in place she plugs the hole with wooden buttons that are glued
into place.
To fix the baluster in place Faye applies Selleys Aquadhere at both ends before
securing.
