Ryobi have produced a thickness planer that is affordable for even the handyman.
Previously this tool was only available and used in professional workshops.
The Ryobi Thickness Planner is very easy to use with only one adjustment
required for altering the thickness.
Having adjusted the required thickness, start the machine by inserting the yellow
safety device from the switch (to stop small inquisitive people).
Place your timber in the planer & allow the planer to draw the timber through at
its own pace. You will need to walk around to the other side to collect your
finished piece or have someone help you.
You will now have a perfectly flat piece of timber ready for sanding
and final finishing.
Remember when using these machines to always use ear protection and wear safety
glasses.
