Fixing mirrors directly to walls can be a tricky job (especially on the ceiling!). It can be done with double-sided tape or by making a timber frame for the mirror, but Kevinís tip is to use Selleyís Liquid Nails Mirror, Metal & Glass. Itís water resistant and non-corrosive, so it wonít damage the silver backing on the mirror. Itís also heat- and steam-resistant so itís perfect for bathrooms.

Apply 6mm thick beads of adhesive about 8cm apart, staying away from edges. Work quickly, because it skins in about 5 minutes. This adhesive has a very strong vertical hold, so itís perfect for heavy mirrors. You may need to support the weight of the mirror until the Liquid Nails cures.

Itís also great for gluing metal objects, such as bathroom accessories to tiles or glass. Use plenty of glue, and support with tape until set. Too easy!

Kevís tip: Check out Selleyís other adhesives to help make your next job just as easy.
