You might not think much about packaging, but the hardware suppliers sure do. If you’ve ever made anything, it’s very likely that you’ve used zenith hardware. They make nails, screws, bolts, washers, brackets - you name it.

The problem with having so many products is that it can be confusing when you’re shopping. That’s why the clever clogs at Zenith decided to re-package their hardware to make it easy for you to get the right stuff when you need, and quickly too.

The packs are colour coded according to the material the products designed for. For example, if a fastener is designed for timber, it’s in a green pack, if it’s for metal it’s in a pink pack.

There’s also clear logos that quickly show what kind of drive (eg Phillips, slot, square), head shape and thread type it is, as well as the size in huge numbers.

The hard-plastic packs are re-sealable, so you can use a few and hang the rest up for another day without spilling them everywhere.

tip Monte’s Tip:
Keep your eye out for the square drive screws. The bits fit very snugly, so they don’t skip and strip like Phillips head screws tend to do. The packs come with a free driver bit, so have a go! I love ‘em!

Zenith products are available at all good hardware stores.
