Sometimes you will be faced with a bit of a painting puzzle. In Lets Do It, Monte
needs to paint three different surfaces: plasterboard, bare timber and a door.
The solution could be to use a different product for each of the surfaces but
that would be time consuming and expensive, as well as messy.
A much simpler solution is to use Taubmans 3 in 1.
It is an interior and exterior water based sealant, primer and undercoat all in
You can apply it to almost any surface, you can put almost any water-based
topcoat on it and it dries in about 2 hours.
As with any fresh tin of paint you need to stir it thoroughly.
When you are applying primer or undercoat make sure you work it in really well.
If there are any discolorations on the surface touch up those areas first
before applying the overall coat.
Have a break and a cuppa, and then you will be ready to do your topcoat.
